Blueberries

And the walls hung Thick with vines, and the vines became the world all around.

And Max, being wise, stopped to eat from the vines.

Chocolate Charlotte

Recently I had a rare girls night out with my friends from church. I did have a great time but as always my thoughts kept coming back to my babies.

Dinner was great.  We ate dinner at a restaurant in Carytown called the Bakers Crust.  To my delight, On the dessert menu, There was a delicious chocolate mousse with lady fingers tiramisu pie. It was exactly what I wanted. Light, fluffy, delicious  and most  Importantly, chocolate.  It was called a chocolate Charlotte.

Just like in the book Where the Wild Things Are, I ate it up. I loved it so.

"Mustard, troops!!"

Bible school craft

This is a pretty cool example of where my babies are at. First is an example of Ruby's horse, painted chocolate brown, corners evenly matched to the class example, eyes glued with dot dot not a lot, and scripture inserted at 75 degree angle as instructed. Henry's horse has all components, 2 wooden halves mushed together with glue, however unstable and drippy, and there are an abundance of Jackson pollack esque scribbles.  An eye hangs.

Your focus was on covering the surface of one half of the horse with marker.  You did that, so to you, the instructions were irrelevant.  It was perfection.
