Scuba Diver
I was changing the batteries on a toy for Henry, sort of halfway listening to your bubbling brook of conversation. I did make out that you were saying "mama, I will help you, I will get my scuba diver". I just said "yeah, ok, that sounds good"... Thinking well I appreciate it but I am not sure a scuba diver is going to help in this situation.
A few minutes later, you come back and say repeatedly until you get my attention "Mama, here you go, I got my scuba diver for you, mama, look, my scuba diver is right here". So i finally look up and see that you have...
A screwdriver.
You smile up at me. "See mama, I will help you with my scuba diver".
Little girl, you are such a joy. We changed those batteries with your scuba diver, and...We did it together. :)

Self motivated
I know I had written before about your obsession with puzzles. What I had not noticed Before was that your interest In them is entirely self motivated. I have been watching other kids doing puzzles, Even kids who are older than you. What I see is that they seem to want to do puzzles Because of the praise they receive for completing it.
They only do puzzles when someone is watching. When They finish a puzzle, They get up with a smile looking for congratulations. You on the other hand work puzzles tucked away in a corner. When you finish one, the only way that I know you are done is that it is completed and I see you working on another one.
You are a pretty incredible, wondetful, brilliant little munchkin. You make me so happy and proud.
